This could be a bit of a reach, but Jalen Mills deserves some respect for the season he is having. The fact that he wasn’t voted in could have something to do with the competition. The NFC has some solid cornerback’s who are playing at an elite level. But give Mills some credit for the way he has played this season.

The first few weeks were difficult for Mills as he was the most targeted cornerback in the NFL. He was up to the challenge as he held his own and now makes quarterbacks think twice about throwing his way. Maybe the little bit of a dropoff in production as of late made it harder for him to get a nod, but it would be wrong to not acknowledge the type of season he is having.

Knowing Mills, this type of snub will add fuel to the fire and he will come out and play better than ever. After all, last season he was ridiculed for being one of the worst cornerbacks in the league. This year he came out and proved that he could hold his own. Kind of makes you wonder what exactly will he do next season then? Only time will tell, but it should be interesting.
