Terrelle Pryor

If you think back to last years offseason, you could probably recall the Eagles showing some strong interest in Terrelle Pryor. He was coming off of an impressive season for his first year at wide receiver in the NFL, despite being 28 years old. His single-season as the Cleveland Browns number one target put some unrealistic expectations in everybody’s head.

Pryor looked like he had a ton of upside considering he still had room for improvement as a wide receiver. But unfortunately, he stunted his growth at the position when his only season with the Washington Redskins turned out to be a total flop. In other words, Eagles fans were relieved to know that they ended up with Jeffery instead of Pryor after the 2017 offseason.

Pryor’s struggles with the Redskins made his second year on the free agency market a lot different in comparison to the first. He went from being a hot topic to being a last resort signing. But as Jeffery heals from his offseason surgery, the Eagles could use a big bodied receiver to substitute for him during his missed time. If they could get the guy that they initially had a substantial amount of interest in for a lot less money, the Eagles could have a winning situation on their hands.
