Toby Weathersby, G

Just like many undrafted free agents, Toby Weathersby’s lack of draft interest stems from injury concerns. Weathersby’s most recent string of worries came from ‘heat-headaches,’ which forced him to miss multiple games in 2017. Back in High School, Weathersby was the star of the offensive line, which helped him land on LSU’s offensive line.

Throughout Westhersby’s college career he struggled to become that star prospect that he once was in high school. Despite battling health issues, Weathersby still caught the attention of the Eagles, which helped him not only get on a roster for the summer. But he also secured a nice $40k signing bonus, according to Boston Globes’ Ben Volin.

Weathersby is far from a lock to make the roster, but he will be issued a fair shot. As the Eagles were left with a struggling bench at the guard position with Isaac Seumalo and Chance Warmack, there is a realistic shot that a young guy can come in and win over a backup job.
