Vikings fans disrespected Philly.

When you visit someone else’s house, you are supposed to show some respect. It is an unwritten rule, but I guess the Vikings didn’t get the memo. Because when they showed up to Philly, they didn’t exactly exhibit house training.

First off, they completely wrote off the Eagles. They came into Philly expecting to walk all over their opponent. To be fair, everyone basically thought that. The NFL Facebook even posted a Super Bowl image of the Vikings and the New England Patriots before the NFC and AFC championship games even happened. It was as if the Vikings had already won. Not sure why considering it took a miracle for the Vikings to advance to the NFC championship. But of course, the Eagles got the last laugh.

Then there was the complete disregard for Philly’s hero. The statue of the fictional movie character Rocky Balboa was dressed in purple and gold. If that wasn’t bad enough, several Vikings fans climbed the “Rocky steps” and chanted the Vikings war cry “Skol.” But it’s all good. The Eagles returned the favor.
