Nate Gerry, LB

Heading into the preseason, Nate Gerry was listed as a starting outside linebacker. After a few games, Kamu Grugier-Hill might’ve gotten the upper-hand on him. That’s not to say that Gerry has been a disappointment, but he hasn’t been impressive, exactly. The Eagles might give Grugier-Hill and Gerry one last chance to duke it out before the regular season. Both guys are a lock to make the roster, but we still don’t know who will start off the season at the WILL.

Considering the absence of Nigel Bradham for week one, we’re not sure what Jim Schwartz has in store. Gerry and the rest of the linebackers will surely be put to the test next week against the Falcons, so this week will be an essential workout physically and mentally for the second-year linebacker. His performance early on could dictate where he stands next week on the depth chart.
