The safeties

Malcolm Jenkins may provide the best one-two punch in the NFL, and though Corey Graham clearly isn’t as talented as either of them, he’s a capable backup that knows the system.

Philly added Deiondre’ Hall in exchange for a conditional 7th-round draft choice. Still, even with all of that being said, it just feels like something is missing, and it’s hard to put them in the ‘A’ category.

Grade: B+ (92)

The cornerbacks

Rasul Douglas looked good when forced into action, and Philly appears to be fine in the capable hands of Jalen Mills, Ronald Darby and Sidney Jones. That can be said despite the fact that Darby is always one random event from injury. Avonte Maddox is a talented rookie who came this close to a pick-six in Week 3 of the preseason.

There’s really not much to complain about here. If Jones and Maddox are what we think they are, watch out.

Grade: A- (93%)

The linebackers

This may be the Eagles’ weakest unit heading into 2018. Can Jordan Hicks and Joe Walker play? They absolutely can, but each time either of them go down, everyone’s breath will be held until we see them get up without limping.

Nigel Bradham is excellent at the outside linebacker position, but Nathan Gerry, LaRoy Reynolds and Kamu Grugier-Hill are all unproven.

Let’s hope someone steps up. Let’s hope no one gets hurt.

Grade: B- (85%)
