Jason Peters, LT

The Bodyguard, Jason Peters hasn’t exactly lived up to his nickname this season. To put it simply, Carson Wentz has been getting killed in the backfield. Granted, it is far from all Jason Peters fault, but we’re not going to sit here and act as if Peters gets some type of pass, because he sure doesn’t.

It’s understandable that Peters is older, and coming off of a very bad injury, but right now he doesn’t look like the same player that he was from before and that’s very concerning considering that it’s already week five. The Eagles have started making some changes on the offensive line by benching Stefen Wisniewski for Isaac Seumalo.

In all honesty, the left side of the line doesn’t get much better. So if Peters is struggling beside Seumalo, then it could get very tough to watch as it may be another long day in the pocket for Carson Wentz. It’s time for Peters to put the first four weeks behind him and get back to playing as he did before his injury. The Eagles need him now more than ever.
