Carson Wentz, QB

Let’s not waste any time here. Carson Wentz is at the point of his young career where he makes the Eagles a tough contender no matter what. Despite the ridiculous amounts of pressure on the quarterback week after week, he still finds ways to make plays to keep the Eagles in the game, no matter the situation.

Last week was a statement game for Wentz. The protection for him wasn’t much better than the previous weeks, but it didn’t matter. Wentz was up for the challenge and was putting his team on his back and led the Eagles to a big win. This week, Wentz can’t let his foot off the gas. We need to see MVP Carson Wentz, and it feels like he’s just getting started.

Each week since Wentz’s return from his knee injury, his numbers have improved. His passer rating after his first week back was an average 84.9. Since that week, Wentz has climbed up to a 122.2 rating after last Thursday’s win. As the Eagles return home, Wentz will be back in his natural zone where he always performs best.
