Alshon Jeffery, WR

Alshon Jeffery bounced back in a big way last week with a two-touchdown performance on the road. We’re unsure if Alshon is fully healthy at this point, but what we have seen from him during two of the past three weeks is very promising. At this point, it’s hard to deny the fact that Alshon Jeffery is indeed, a game-changer on the offense.

Eight catches for 74 yards isn’t an eye-opening stat, but it’s clear as day that Alshon makes all of the difference when the Eagles have the ball. Everybody just does their job better. Defenses are so focused on the fact that Alshon’s catch radius is off the charts. Meanwhile, Nelson Agholor is somewhere running loose in the middle of the field.

When the Eagles faced the Panthers last season, Wentz and Jeffery were finally getting on the same page as they were still unaware of each others game. This year, they are heading into the Carolina game clicking. We know the Eagles love throwing a lot once again this season, and this is the week where it can potentially pay off big time.
