Carson Wentz, QB

Let’s get this out of the way quickly. Carson Wentz played what is looking like the worst game of his career last Sunday. He threw zero touchdowns, and three interceptions as the Eagles offense couldn’t put up more than seven points. It’s easy to blame to lack of run game and the shaky blocking at times, but the truth is that Wentz has been off the last two weeks.

If the Eagles are going to win on Sunday, then Wentz needs to flash some of that first-half magic once again. Statistically, Wentz was killing it ever since he returned from his injury. But ever since the bye week, Wentz hasn’t looked sharp at all. Getting outplayed by Drew Brees last week wasn’t all that surprising, but losing to Dak Prescott and the Cowboys at home was embarrassing.

We need to see four solid quarters out of Wentz. Not a quick start, with a slow finish. And definitely not another sluggish start, and playing catch up all afternoon. Wentz needs to put his last two games in the past and dominate against a team that should have no business winning at The Linc this season.
