Michael Bennett, DE

The Eagles defense hasn’t been all that great this year. However, their number one offseason acquisition Michael Bennett has been a shining star up front. As expected, Bennett has been getting to the quarterback often and causing a ton of problems for the enemies offense. He did well getting pressure the first time the Eagles and the Cowboys met, and we should expect the same amount of pressure from him this time around as well.

Let’s be honest – the Cowboys offense is not as good as the public makes them out to be. They might’ve beat the New Orleans Saints last week, but they only produced 13 points on offense. The key to beating Dallas is keeping Ezekiel Elliott contained, and forcing pressure on Dak Prescott. Bennett is going to be the guy the Eagles have to count on to make Prescott’s afternoon a nightmare.

Wishing for forced turnovers from this beat up defense is going to be a lot to ask for, but the defensive line is the unit that’s going to have to make it happen. As Prescott is prone to fumbling the ball along with the pressure, Bennett is going to have to do more than just sack the guy. He has to go for that ball as well. This offense is far from unstoppable, and they definitely do not protect the ball all that well.
