Golden Tate, WR

Let’s try this again. Before, we have mentioned that Golden Tate was going to be key to beating Dallas since he has done it with the Detroit Lions earlier in the year. The Cowboys game was his debut, and Tate and the Eagles did not deliver. At the time, Tate was still very new on the Eagles offense. As disappointing as it was, he ended up seeing only 19-percent of the offensive snaps on Sunday Night Football a few weeks back.

It took the Eagles a couple of weeks to finally get Tate going on the offense, but last week he was ultimately a factor in the win. He reached the end zone on the first drive and even got the Birds a two-point conversion as well. Was he perfect? No. But we have witnessed Tate improve his game week after week as the Eagles season is winding down.

Maybe, just maybe, Tate will bully the Dallas defense as he did earlier in the season with the Lions. Doug Pederson should probably go back and watch some of that film so he can implement some ideas of how to help Tate hit his stride against the Cowboys once again. The Eagles need a lot more life on offense to beat this stellar Dallas defense.
