3 Interceptions

The sacks have been there for the most part. The turnovers have come and gone, but the defense, to build some confidence and to create extra opportunities for their teammates on offense, have to come up with a few fumbles and maybe a couple of interceptions as well.

More from Inside the Iggles

They have nine interceptions for the season. Making the playoffs means they’ll be playing the best the NFC has to offer. Maybe we’re setting the bar high with three interceptions per game, but we were once told that it’s better to aim high than low so……..

2 Tight end sets

There has to be a way to get Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert on the field together more often. Sure, it’s been done, but we’re being greedy.

Give us Zach Ertz, Dallas Goedert, Darren Sproles, Alshon Jeffery and whoever else you want on the outside (Nelson Agholor, Golden Tate, Mike Wallace, or whoever). How about that for five eligible receivers?

1 A Carson in a pear tree

You thought we were going to get through this whole thing and not bring up ‘the franchise’?

We all need to understand something. We all love Foles, but he’s expensive, and he probably won’t be in Philly next season. We all know that this is Carson Wentz‘s team.

Next. Eagles could have Mike Wallace ready for Playoffs. dark

Philly needs their signal caller to morph back into the guy we knew before the knee injury in Los Angeles. Regardless of who you think Philly should hand the keys to the offense to, this is the guy.

Now, as fans let’s all just show a little support and hope the back heals properly and we see ’11’ running around out there doing what he does. We don’t need to create a quarterback controversy where there isn’t one.

We’ve seen it can work with Wentz at the helm.
