Nelson Agholor, WR

Do we have a new speedster to stretch the field on the Eagles offense? Lately, Nelson Agholor has been hitting his stride against the secondary when it comes to running deeper routes. All year long the Eagles have lacked in that area, but over the last few weeks the Eagles have figured out that they could throw Golden Tate in the slot and put Agholor to work on the deep routes.

If only the Eagles figured out that Nelson Agholor could do this earlier on in the season, then the offense might’ve been better off. But hey, let’s not dwell on the past decisions. We just know that as of late, Agholor has been running free in the secondary, and we just cannot get enough of it. Knowing that Foles can toss that deep ball so accurately when he’s on, it makes the Eagles offense a lot scarier.

This week could be another game where Agholor shines for a play or two. He doesn’t need to pick up a ton of catches, but it definitely seems like Agholor and Foles have an excellent connection, especially on that deep ball. Not only do the Eagles need Agholor in order to produce, but Agholor could use a few more personal accolades this week as well. He hasn’t exactly been explosive this year, but at least he’s showing that last season’s big plays were no fluke.
