1. The underdogs are back in the playoffs.

Of course, the number one moment of the regular season is the Eagles heading back to the playoffs for the second straight year.

In fact, the last time Philadelphia appeared in the playoffs for consecutive seasons was in 2009 and 2010.

After getting demolished against the New Orleans Saints in Week 11 fans and critics alike counted this team out. Heck, the odds were stacked against them, as we reported numerous times.

However, ‘The Birds’ turned it around and caught fire at the right time to finish the season with a 5-1 record. Moving Philly’s overall season record to 9-7.

Just like last postseason, Philadelphia is considered an underdog. The significant difference is they are the sixth seed and not the one seed with home-field advantage or a bye-week.

Earlier this week, ESPN revealed their playoff power ranking list where they ranked the Eagles dead last out of all 12 teams who made the tournament.
