T.J. Yeldon

Age: 25

Last Team: Jacksonville Jaguars

T.J. Yeldon will be a Free Agent out of Jacksonville, who could be of interest to the Eagles. Although he’s not the Jaguars running back that we dreamed of, which is Leonard Fournette, he could fit well into the Eagles offense. Yeldon wouldn’t come in and be a game-changer for the Eagles backfield, but again, he would be a decent piece in a committee of backs, which is most likely what the Eagles are going to go for.

Last year, Yeldon got plenty of opportunities to take on a nice workload since Fournette missed some significant time. At first, the Jags weren’t too confident in Yeldon’s ability to be somewhat of a feature back on their offense, hence the reason why they went out and traded for Carlos Hyde. Once Hyde came on board though, Yeldon wouldn’t lose his spot as the number one back.

With 104 carries for 414 yards and a touchdown, Yeldon was far from impressive on the ground. However, he managed to collect 55 receptions for 487 yards and four touchdowns in the passing game. That type of production from a running back is exactly what the Eagles love to see.
