Mack Hollins, WR

“Is Mack Hollins still alive?” That’s probably the most asked question of 2018 from Eagles fans. Yes, Mack Hollins is still alive, and hopefully, he’s ready to show the NFL what he’s made of next season. Last year was ridiculous for injuries, but Hollins was among two players, who didn’t speak to media all year long and never had a timetable for a return.

During the offseason last year, Hollins ended up having sports hernia surgery. Similar to what Derek Barnett had in the offseason as well. Unfortunately, it seems as though Hollins’ recovery didn’t go as planned and he missed the entire 2018 season. Without him on the field at all, many forgot about Hollins. Hopefully, he gives us something to look forward to in 2019.

With the Eagles potentially in the market for another wideout, Hollins will most likely get pushed to a fourth-string role. However, his presence has been surely missed on special teams as well. Hollins showed some flashes during his rookie season on offense, which makes his return exciting. We’re not sure what to expect, but hopefully his game at wideout has improved. Also, it’s great to know that he was already a big-time contributor on special teams as well.
