Cornerback, Jalen Mills

In the minds of some, Mills is barely on this Eagles team as it is. That’s unfair, and he probably makes the roster this season. Even with all of that being said, at best, he’s probably playing for his long-term future with ‘The Birds’ in 2019.

Then, there’s the theory that he could be used as trade bait. It’s been said before, and those rumors might begin to creep up again. Stay tuned.

Safety, Andrew Sendejo

As it stands now, the Eagles have five safeties and two guys listed as defensive backs on the current roster. The Minnesota Vikings let Sendejo go on March 11th after declining an option on his contract. That followed a 2018 regular season that ended early thanks to a groin injury that occured in Week 5 against the Eagles of all teams.

Maybe Philly saw something they liked, but thinking Sendejo will challenge for a starting role is probably inaccurate. With the young talent Philly has, it’s actually more fair to ask if he ‘s certain of a roster spot.

That would mean two teams have given up on him in two seasons.
