Nelson Agholor, Wide Receiver

Yes, though some of you have already moved on from Nelson Agholor in your minds, he is, indeed, still on the active roster. Trade rumors won’t go away. Philly may be looking to gain something by moving their former first-round selection, but for now, he’s still here.

He’s got guys like JJ Arcega-Whiteside creeping up on him on the depth chart though.

Jason Peters, Left Tackle

We say this a lot, but this may truly be the last ride for the guy that may very well be the Eagles next entrant into Canton Ohio. Peters is on a fine line that separates ‘leaving on your own terms’ from ‘there’s a young rookie who may be your eventual replacement’.

It’s hard to imagine Philly letting ‘The Bodyguard’ go if he decides he does want to play past 2019, but they’ve got a lot of guys to pay. Would they give Peters one final extension out of respect or finally let him go?

Nate Sudfeld, Quarterback

Not too long ago, Philly’s chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie expressed his interest in drafting a quarterback in every NFL Draft. ‘The Birds’ took Clayton Thorson in the most recent.

Nate Sudfeld is the second guy on the depth chart now. According to Spotrac, he’s due $3,095,000 in 2019. The next statement is in no way meant to be seen as disrespectful, but is Sudfeld even worth that much? We do realize an extension probably means a pay increase right?
