4. Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas Cowboys

By now, you’ve heard the news. Ezekiel Elliott won’t be suspended by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. Last season, he ran wild in two games versus Philly, racking up 264 rushing yards and 115 yards receiving to go along with two touchdowns in the process.

Many believe the NFC East is a two-team race, and how successful Philly is against Elliott could determine the outcome in their two annual games versus their age-old rivals in 2019.

5. Devonta Freeman, Atlanta Falcons

Philly will have their hands full with the Atlanta offense in an early contest in 2019. Though the Eagles have had the Falcons number as of late, it’s never easy for them when they see the ‘Dirty Birds’.

There’s a ton to pay attention to. Julio Jones may be the best receiver in the world. The Falcons may be better on defense than they were a season ago. Devonta Freeman is underrated but one of the league’s best backs. Then, there’s Matt Ryan. He’s still there spreading the ball around to all of that offensive talent and racking up the yards.

Expect another dog fight versus the Falcons. This time, the game is in Atlanta, a spot where the Eagles have struggled versus A-T-L.
