Let’s compare Mr. Allen to another Eagles great.

More from Inside the Iggles

When Brian Dawkins got the call to the Hall in 2018, much to the delight of the City of Brotherly Love, he did so with a career total of 37 interceptions (that includes 34 in an Eagles uniform). That ties him for the most in the history of this great Eagles organization.

Who’s he tied with? You guessed it. He’s tied with Allen and another Eagles great, Bill Bradley.

With numbers so similar to Sanders and with ‘Neon Deion’ often being considered one of, if not the, best ever, it’s easy to see why he would endorse his contemporary for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Allen’s a complete corner through and through, perhaps the extended Hall of Fame class will finally give us and him the chance to hear his name called. Can you believe that he’s never even been a finalist?

With the numbers and, now, with the public endorsement of Prime Time, it’ll be very hard to argue against his case.
