2. Here’s what was said about Worley previously and what the Eagles linebacker position looks like now.

The Eagles now have nine linebackers on their roster. Here are the names: the aforementioned Worley, Nigel BradhamAlex SingletonKamu Grugier-HillAsantay BrownZach BrownL.J. FortNathan Gerry, and T.J. Edwards. There are a lot of names, but outside of Bradham, there doesn’t appear to be a ton of sizzle.

Again, we don’t have a ton of tape, but we know he has some talent. Here’s some of what was said about him by Lance Zierlein prior to the 2018 NFL Draft.

"Worley isn’t an imposing linebacker, hasn’t had impressive production and probably won’t run well. However, he has a load of intangibles that will appeal to evaluators as either a late-round pick or a priority free agent. Worley is tough and plays with good physicality and could earn a spot at the table as a core special teamer."

Ladies and gentlemen, if that’s all there is to this, Worley isn’t making this team. He’ll be around for two weeks, but he won’t be around after that. The practice squad isn’t an option either. That spot probably belongs to T.J. Edwards.
