1. This Mack Hollins thing had better work out!

So, no one else feels like Mack Hollins sticks out like a sore thumb? Sure, we knew he’d make the team. Sure, we’ve all heard the argument about his special teams, but if Greg Ward goes somewhere else, probably to the New England Patriots, and blows up, this will be questioned forever.

2. Two fan favorites make the roster.

In typical preseason fashion, fans got behind a dark horse (well, two dark horses) and rode that wave all the way to roster consideration. Like Paul Turner and Corey Clement, who came before them, T.J. Edwards and Daeshon Hall showed what they had, and now, they’re officially Philadelphia Eagles

3. Only two tight ends?

It’s hard to believe that this is how this group will look all season. Maybe the Eagles just needed to get a roster put together and will browse the waiver wire later. They’ll need a third tight end. Then again, if someone gets hurt they can just go with a five-wide look.
