Pittsburgh Steelers at New England Patriots

Venue: Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, Massachusetts

More from Inside the Iggles

Prediction: It’s hard to call this one a rivalry because the New England Patriots always seem to get the best of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and until Pittsburgh wins one of these, there’s no reason to believe that Bill Belichick‘s mastery of Mike Tomlin won’t continue in 2019.

This one’s the first Sunday night game of the new season, and it figures to be a wildly entertaining game.

Final score: Steelers 24, Patriots 27

Houston Texans at New Orleans Saints (Upset Alert)

Venue: Mercedes-Benz Superdome, New Orleans, Louisiana

Prediction: Watch. The Houston Texans landing of Laremy Tunsil will be one of the most important offseason pickups of 2019. The New Orleans Saints will, again, be in the conversation all year, but the season will begin with an unexpected loss on Monday night.

Final score: Texans 31, Saints 27

Denver Broncos at Oakland Raiders

Venue: Oakland–Alameda County Coliseum, Oakland, California

Prediction: This one’s easy. The Denver Broncos are looking to right their ship, and the Oakland Raiders have become one of the laughingstocks of the NFL. They already seem desperate for a win, and allowing Antonio Brown to play in this one is evidence of that.

The Raiders will score, but so will the Broncos. The difference is, when the Broncos need to make a stop, they’ll be able to. Can we truly say that about Oakland?

Final score: Broncos 20, Raiders 13
