3. Will Brandon Brooks hold up physically?

We mentioned the fact that the New Orleans Saints ended the Eagles title defense a season ago at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The loss was a costly one as no one can seem to forget the image of Brandon Brooks being carted off of the field.

It would seem as though a torn Achilles would take about a year to heal from even if you aren’t playing football. Well, that definitely isn’t a group that Brooks falls in.

Not only is he a football player. He’s attempting to step back on the field just a little under nine months after a serious injury. Your heart tells you if you’re an Eagles fan that you want him to play. Your head says the Eagles should proceed with caution and avoid the risk of losing him for a longer period of time.

Is Brooks ready? We’ll know soon enough.
