Oakland Raiders at Minnesota Vikings

Venue and weather: U.S. Bank Stadium (indoors)

Prediction: After an impressive opener, the Oakland Raiders had their derrières handed to them by the rival Kansas City Chiefs. They’d hold K.C. scoreless in the first quarter and second half. That would qualify as the good news. The bad news is they allowed 28 points in the second stanza.

This week, they travel to Minneapolis to meet the Minnesota Vikings. To keep things simple, just look at things this way. The Vikings offense has an advantage over the Raiders defense. The Vikings defense has an edge over the Raiders offense. The Vikings appear to be better on special teams.

The Vikings are at home, and they’re going to win this game. Final Score: Raiders 17, Vikings 27

Baltimore Ravens at Kansas City Chiefs

Venue and weather: Arrowhead Stadium, Rain, 69°F at kickoff

Prediction: It must be nice to finally get your first home game of the season knowing that you’ve already got two wins in your back pocket. That’s the situation the Chiefs are in, and in the third week of the season, K.C. hosts a red-hot Baltimore Ravens squad.

The Ravens are good. They’ll probably win the AFC North, but this is a game that just feels like a loss. It just doesn’t seem like it will be by a wide margin. Final Score: Ravens 17, Chiefs 31
