2. Alshon Jeffery, WR

Boy, have the Eagles missed this guy. While the return of DeSean Jackson is still highly anticipated as he’s a game-changer on the field, the return of Alshon Jeffery could be just as significant. Last week, the Eagles had their third wide receiver option as their number one target.

The rest of the crew was an underperforming rookie and a special teamer. Will Alshon be a game-changer on Thursday? We won’t bank on it. But his presence should keep Green Bay’s secondary on their toes. Last week, the only real threat to the opposing defense was tight end, Zach Ertz.

For that, he was double-teamed all afternoon while Carson Wentz was challenged to throw the ball elsewhere. As we know, that wasn’t all that successful with the drops. At least with Jeffery, Wentz will have a reliable target who is known best for catching contested passes.

Plus, Jeffery is a big-time red-zone weapon for the Eagles as well. They can get more creative against Green Bay when they are closer to the end zone now. We know Alshon might not be one-hundred percent, but his return is crucial no matter what.
