Special teams player of the Month: Miles Sanders

In the biggest game of the Eagles’ young season, Miles Sanders ripped off the best kick return of the 2019 regular season. That got Philly going after they fell in a 10-0 hole early.

The Eagles battled back and got a much-needed win. The season’s been saved. If Philly keeps it going, remember Sanders’ return. That may be one of the most important moments of 2019 when we close the book on the regular season.

By the way, Rudy Ford gets down the field in a flash, doesn’t he? There’s no wonder why he’s here.

Comeback Player of the Year (this may hold up all season): Brandon Brooks

For the average human being, it takes about a year to fully recover from an Achilles tear even if you aren’t playing competitive sports. With that being said, how can something be called a ‘comeback player of the year’ award if you’re not going to hand it to a man who shredded his Achilles on January 13th and was back on the football field right around eight months later?

Take a bow Brandon Brooks. This one came down to you and Rodney McLeod, but after seeing what we’ve seen you do, we can’t stop talking about it. You’ve earned the respect of every Eagles fan.
