The best chance to improve: Jordan Howard

Ladies and gentlemen, Jordan Howard is as good as advertised. Since Week 1, the Eagles have done everything they could to make Miles Sanders the guy and then use Howard situationally (or as a change of pace for the rookie). No, on second thought, that actually isn’t right.

That can’t be said when Philly ignored Howard during a road trip to Atlanta.

Howard’s slow start has nothing to do with Howard. Blame his coaches for not playing him more. Eagles fans have been clamoring for him to be given the opportunity to take on more of a feature role, and in Week 4, they got their wish. We’ve now been given an appetizer of what the Eagles offense should look like for the remainder of the 2019 regular season.

Howard is the guy. Sanders is the change of pace, and you can argue among yourselves about what should be done with both Darren Sproles and Corey Clement.

This could be a monster year for Howard, and no Eagles fan would complain if it is. Could you imagine what life would be like if they had a sledgehammer like Josh Adams too? Then again, he’s got those fumbling problems, so nevermind.
