ITI: What’s your prediction for how this one plays out?

Justin T. Fried: Even if Darnold plays, it’s hard to see this being a competitive game. The Eagles looked impressive in their victory over Green Bay, and the Jets haven’t been competitive since Week 1, and that can be said even on the heels of a dominant defensive performance.

The offensive line must improve. The playcalling must show signs of life. The offense, as a whole, needs to look completely different. It’s difficult to envision that happening no matter who’s under center. I say the Eagles pull this one out by a score of 31 to 13.

Boy Green: Even with the positive Sam Darnold news, this is a hard question to answer. If Sam can play, the Jets have a legitimate chance because there are some matchups the team can take advantage of in the passing game.

If he’s unable to go, expectations should be very low with Luke Falk at quarterback. I agree with Justin. I’ll take the Eagles, but I disagree with the score. I’m thinking this is a 28-10 game. Until the Jets prove they can score, it’s impossible to believe that they have a chance versus virtually any team.
