The Eagles are back on top. Once again, the NFL’s regular season is playing out like so many other NFL seasons have played out about before. The Cowboys started hot. The Eagles struggled early, but here we are. They’re tied for the division lead after five games.

Week 6 is approaching, and once again, there’s a similar narrative. The Cowboys seemingly have a winnable game on the schedule, and the Eagles hit the road to face a team that’s seen as one of the best in the NFC.

We’ll all have to wait and see how things go, but here’s a couple of things that we can all say confidently. The Eagles will be a legitimate contender if they put it all together. The question is will they? The Cowboys, on the other hand, are in a different category.

They need a lot of things to go in their favor for them to be successful, but that isn’t how the current NFL works. The Cowboys will have a hard time being successful later in the season against good teams. Plus, it’s beginning to look like the league’s other coaches are figuring Kellen Moore out.
