123. . 3-2. Previous: 1st. Dallas Cowboys. 2. team

The Cowboys did exactly what they were supposed to do in the first three weeks of the season. They took care of business against lesser teams. After three straight wins versus inferior opponents, the Cowboys were the toast of the NFL, their fans were a stone’s throw away from booking their flights to Miami for Super Bowl LIV, and Dak Prescott was one of the frontrunners for the NFL’s MVP trophy.

Fast forward, and the Cowboys are losers of two straight, the second loss was worse than the first, and now, even Cowboys fans are wondering if Dak Prescott made a mistake by refusing to sign such a generous contract that was offered to him by Jerry Jones and the rest of the Cowboys organization.

On the season, Prescott’s completed a little less than seventy percent of his passes for 1,606 yards and 11 touchdowns. What can’t be found in the stat line is the way Prescott’s collapsed versus better teams. Dallas will remain a factor, but they’ve got some massive issues. We haven’t even brought up Jason Garrett and all of his flaws.
