team. 31. . 2-3. Previous: 3rd. New York Giants. 3

All things considered, the New York Giants are in a much better position than they were three weeks ago. They seem to be satisfied that they’ve done right by Eli Manning. They seem to have made the right decision at quarterback with Daniel Jones. They seem to have taken the mantle back from their little brothers, the New York Jets.

It wasn’t too long ago that the Jets had the ‘it’ factor at quarterback, Sam Darnold. Then, just this past offseason, the Jets got one of the ‘big fish’ free-agent signings in Le’Veon Bell. Then, they got those shiny new jerseys from Nike.

Both the Giants and Jets got off to slow starts, but the Jets have now fallen off of a cliff while the Giants are improving. There’s just one problem for the ‘G Men’.

The Jets don’t play in their division.

After five games, we’ve pretty much proven what we already knew. The Cowboys and Eagles will contend for the top spot in the NFC East, and the Giants will do all that they can to achieve some level of respectability.
