6. Orlando Scandrick, cornerback

Since we’re on the subject of corners, there’s no better time to bring up Orlando Scandrick. Even after his release, there was a theory that he’d be back, and the Eagles didn’t disappoint in making sure that’s what happened after injuries to Sidney Jones, Avonte Maddox, and Ronal Darby. Those were the three guys we all expected to be at the top of the depth chart all Spring and Summer.

Keep in mind the fact that this team was already missing Cre’Von LeBlanc and Jalen Mills.

Scandrick paid immediate dividends with four tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and a defensive touchdown versus the New York Jets. He’ll be needed the rest of the way as well, seeing as how Philly needs to stabilize this secondary once and for all and as quickly as possible.
