2. Fletcher Cox, DT

We’re heading into Week 6, and Fletcher Cox, last year’s sack leader, still hasn’t notched a single sack this season. Now, don’t let that number fool you as Cox has still been a part of the defensive line’s success. Without healthy help beside him, offensive lines feel more comfortable with offering up more pressure on Cox inside because his sidekick isn’t Jackson or Jernigan.

While Cox has had his down games this season, he’s been creating more and more pressure over the last two weeks against the Jets and the Packers. If the Eagles can get to Kirk Cousins this week, then they will be great on the defensive side of the ball.

However, it’s also necessary to note the Vikings have established themselves as a run-first team. They will try to get the ball to Dalvin Cook early on, but we’re confident in Cox and the run defense. As the Eagles have the number one, run-stopping defense, they match up pretty well with the Vikings offense. They just have to create pressure for the struggling quarterback, though.
