4. Zach Ertz, TE

Well, this doesn’t happen too often. Typically, Eagles tight end Zach Ertz is one of the good guys. One of those players, who always shows up even when the team is doing bad. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen on Sunday. Ertz was actually a problem for the Eagles, rather than the defense.

We could go as far as saying that Week 6 against the Vikings in 2019 was probably Zach Ertz’s worst game in a very long time. That’s extremely disappointing considering that all of the Eagles’ stars should be stepping up as they are short-handed and underperforming.

Ertz was targeted nine times on Sunday, but only collected four catches for 54 yards. Along with a couple of drops, Ertz also fumbled the ball during a critical late-game possession where the Eagles still had at least an ounce of hope in forming a comeback. Once Ertz lost the ball though, that was the dagger for the Eagles. That wasn’t the performance you expect to see from a Pro Bowler.
