6-1. Previous: 3rd. Green Bay Packers. 3. team. 49.

How’s this for scary? The Green Bay Packers battled their way to a 6-1 record and didn’t even seem to hit their stride until they got to Week 7. Then, in a game versus the Oakland Raiders, they almost wrecked the scoreboard at Lambeau Field with their most impressive victory of the season.

Don’t look now, but the Packers are playing a little defense now. Not only that, Aaron Rodgers is healthy, motivated, and starting to get hot at the right time. The Packers are going to be a problem for any team that they face going forward, especially when it gets cold outside and Green Bay is playing in front of the ‘cheese heads’.

Can you imagine what it’s going to be like if this team secures home-field advantage throughout the NFC Playoffs?

team. 42. . 6-0. Previous: 4th. San Francisco 49ers. 4

All season long, the San Francisco 49ers and their fans have been wondering where their respect is and why people aren’t discussing them more. That is except for Richard Sherman. He subscribes to another theory.

Mr. Sherman wants you to keep right on ignoring the Niners if you’ve been doing so to this point. Mr. Sherman wants you to keep their names out of your mouth if you haven’t been singing San Francisco’s praises since the beginning. Ladies and gentlemen, pay Richard Sherman no attention.

Everyone should know by now that San Fran has something special brewing in the Bay Area. The Niners are young. They’re very good, and they’re going to be good for a long time. People keep doubting, and they keep right on winning.
