NFL talk: Eagles rival among 8 possible landing spots for Cam Newton

1. Miami Dolphins

Though things couldn’t have started any worse for Brian Flores, it’s much too early to place him on the hot seat. Judging by the way the NFL works these days, he could have a couple of years. Then again, he may only have a few more months.

Here’s what we know. Flores doesn’t trust Josh Rosen, and Ryan Fitzpatrick isn’t a long term answer. Pencil the Miami Dolphins in as Newton in South Beach sounds really sexy, and it could infuse some energy into a loyal fan base that needs some.

2. Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans are over Marcus Mariota. That’s obvious. Here lies an NFL franchise who hasn’t really had a real answer at quarterback since Steve McNair left. Throw their names on the list along with everybody else’s.
