4. Both got off to slow starts.

If you’re ever worried about how to take the slow starts in Philly, especially the current 2019 campaign, think about 2018’s version, or, better yet, tell your friends about the 1993 Oilers who came into the regular season as Super Bowl favorites but then lost four of their first five games.

It seemed like insurmountable odds for them too, but then, they rattled off 11 straight wins to get into the playoffs. Think about that. Talk about how the odds and statistics were stacked against those Oilers, and things will calm. It’s football folks, and anything is possible.

No one should know that better than Eagles fans.
