3. Dysfunction ruled the day back in 1993.

Imagine watching the Eagles on Sunday Night Football and seeing Jim Schwartz walk over and punch Mike Groh in the face. Perhaps the lowest point of the 1993 Oilers campaign was when Ryan decided to punch Kevin Gilbride. Yes, that actually happened.

Though the Eagles haven’t ever sunk to those types of lows, we’ve all spent more time talking about dysfunction than we all would have liked. Philly seems to have righted the ship, but much of the concern about Philly is, at times, Doug Pederson doesn’t seem to have any more control over his team than Jack Pardee had on his.

Here’s the good news. At least Doug tries to take control.
