5. Houston’s regular season ended with a bang. Philly’s should too.

Here’s a silver lining for a few dark clouds. It’s been a rough start for ‘The Birds’, just like the Oilers had their rough start in 1993, but your team was never 1-4.

Both the 2019 Eagles and 1993 Oilers are alike in that both were 5-4 after nine games. As mentioned, the Oilers wound up winning 11 straight.

That won’t be the case in Philly. At most they could win nine straight. That won’t be easy as they will face the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks in consecutive weeks, but if they can weather the storm, things seem to get easier down the stretch.

The 1993 Oilers ended their regular season with a bang. The Eagles should too. If you love ‘The Birds, you have to hope that doesn’t end with a crushing loss at home. There’s a lot of football to be played though. We’ll have to wait and see what happens.
