3. Push to sign free agency

The last thing Cincinnati Bengals fans expected to see in 2019 was go the entire year without A.J. Green playing a single game, as the wideout continues to deal with an ankle injury.

And since it took the Bengals until Week 13 just to earn their first win of the season, there really is no point in Green suiting up this year since Cincinnati’s team has already been a lost cause for quite some time now.

With that being said, if Green does in fact miss the final four games, it will be interesting to see what the free agency market looks like for the former Georgia standout since there are plenty of teams that would love to bring the wideout on board.

Any concerns surrounding Green’s ankle injury still being an issue in 2020 need to be immediately thrown out the window since there’s every reason to believe he will be back to his normal ways next season, whether on the Bengals or a different team.

If Green does decide that a fresh start on a new team will be the best move for his career since Cincinnati is clearly a work in progress still after this year, the Eagles need to strongly consider signing the receiver if available, even if it means paying a hefty price.

Seeing what Green would be able to bring to the table as a reliable deep threat on offense, Philadelphia would see an immediate impact from the wideout, and could even gain that extra advantage over the Dallas Cowboys when it comes to being the team to beat in the NFC East.
