4. Sign Agholor to prove-it deal

Once the offseason officially gets underway, one of the toughest decisions the Eagles will have to face is whether it would be worth bringing Nelson Agholor back on a new deal or simply let the former first-round pick hit the free agency market.

This current season is the perfect example of just how frustrating of a player Agholor can be when looking at all of the times he’s dropped easy passes, especially that one in Week 2 against the Atlanta Falcons.

Despite making progress over the previous two seasons, Agholor has taken an unfortunate step back during his fifth NFL season, and has displayed signs of similar struggles from the wideout’s first two years in the league from 2015-16.

Of course, the argument can be made that Agholor would have been better off this year if it weren’t for the Jackson injury since he would have been better off as the No. 3 option at wide receiver.

Bringing Agholor back for a sixth season with the Eagles would quickly infuriate a good amount of the fan base, but also it could be beneficial for both parties if he played 2020 on a prove-it deal.

As the Eagles saw in 2017 with Jeffery, these kinds of deals can sometimes help bring out the best in certain players, and even though Agholor is nowhere near that same level of impact, this could still be a wise move.
