2. It always comes down to money.

As with anything else, money is a big part of the decision-making process. Odell Beckham Jr. commands a high cap number. Philly’s already guaranteed the salaries of DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery for 2020, but there are a ton of guys on this roster that are at the ends of their current deals and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if they didn’t return.

If Philly moves on from the likes of Malcolm Jenkins, Jalen Mills, Halapoulivaati Vaitai, Ronald Darby, and Nelson Agholor, they’re going to have a lot of money to spend. Adding another high-dollar receiver ties up a bunch of the money they freed up. OBJ costs a pretty penny. Is he worth the money?
