2. Eagles get to face Giants twice, Redskins once

Outside of their Week 16 meeting with the Cowboys, the Eagles couldn’t have asked for a better end of December schedule when looking at the opponents they get to face.

There are no guaranteed wins when it comes to the NFL, but the fact that Philadelphia gets to face the Giants twice over the next four weeks along with a second meeting against the Washington Redskins shows how favorable their schedule really is.

For weeks, there’s been plenty of discussion surrounding the Eagles over why they deserve to be the favorites to finish on top of the NFC East due to their schedule alone, and it’s easy to see why due to all these games within the division.

While Philadelphia was already excited to receive the opportunity to face rookie Daniel Jones with all of his struggles as of late, the Eagles may end up with an even better gift if Eli Manning ends up starting since the veteran hasn’t been in action since Week 2.

Watching the Eagles fail to take advantage of a favorable meeting with the Dolphins last week was beyond frustrating for obvious reasons, but at least Philadelphia can still end the year on a positive note with this schedule.
