1. He has experience at the professional level.

Marken Michel actually has some professional experience. You know about the work that he put in with this team over the Spring and Summer. What you may not know is he played his collegiate ball at UMass before spending a summer with the Minnesota Vikings.

After that, he packed his bags and headed north of the American border to the Canadian Football League.

There, he spent two seasons with the Calgary Stampeders. It was also there where he would end up winning the Grey Cup in 2018, and here’ sone of those fun facts. That’s if you’re looking for a cool trivia question on game night.

He was also teammates with Alex Singleton on that Stampeders squad in 2018. In two CFL seasons (24 games), Michel had 72 catches, resulting in 1,215 yards, and he reached the end zone eight times. He also took home CFL West Division Rookie of the Year honors in 2017. He has a nice NFL pedigree too, being the brother of former Georgia Bulldogs standout and New England Patriots running back Sony Michel.
