All you need to say about Philly’s recent troubles at wide receiver is the team began the Monday night game with three healthy wide receivers. When the game ended, they had one.
That was Greg Ward, who was just added to the active roster for a second time this season on November 23rd.
If the Eagles are going to win any more games, they can’t keep walking into battle with Greg Ward, three tight ends, and a couple of undersized running backs.
3. He can be signed somewhere else.
This one may be a longshot, but there’s a chance that another team looking for help at the wide receiver position can sign Michel right off of Philly’s practice squad.
Just think about what you’ve seen from the Pats and their struggles on offense. Just think about how many times that you’ve seen the Eagles miss out on someone that could help the team. Philly may need to promote Michel for two reasons. One, they need help at receiver, and second, this prevents someone else from stealing him right from under their noses.
