4. Matt Rhule, currently the head coach at Baylor

This just in. Matt Rhule is one hell of a football coach. He won at Temple. He’s reignited a Baylor Bears program that was still dealing with the issue of being mired in controversy and scandal, and the last time that we all saw him and his team, he gave the Oklahoma Sooners everything that they can handle in the Big 12 Championship Game.

Here’s what you may not know, whether you’re a Giants fan or not. Rhule has a lot of familiarity with the Giants and the team’s brain trust. He was actually with the organization in 2012, serving as their assistant offensive line coach.

He’s proven that he can reignite a struggling football program. Can he do the same with an NFL franchise? That’s the question. Here’s something that you can bank on regardless of where you sit in that argument. Matt Rhule is going to get some interest, and he may get an interview.
