2. Alshon Jeffery

Have Eagles fans seen the last of Alshon Jeffery in an Eagles uniform since he is unable to return this season? As much as Philadelphia loves Jeffery, this was a popular topic of discussion before the Lisfranc injury even took place.

Over the last three years, it’s difficult to imagine where Philadelphia’s passing game would even be without Jeffery, especially during the 2017 season when he helped the team earn their first ever Super Bowl title.

Rewarding Jeffery with a hefty extension back in 2017 during his first year with the team seemed like a no brainer at the time, but now the Eagles face a difficult decision in the offseason over whether his history of injuries is going to be a concern.

Even before the Lisfranc injury, Jeffery was previously dealing with both a calf and hip injury at times earlier in the season, making it easy to understand why the ability to stay healthy is a concern.

Obviously, Eagles fans would love nothing more than to see Jeffery recovery quickly from his Lisfranc injury, and continue making an impact in no time next, but unfortunately the timetable of this injury also puts the start of his 2020 season at risk as well.
