5. Can Eagles keep Cowboys running back duo in check?

Philadelphia already knew they were going to have their hands full on Sunday in regards to keeping Ezekiel Elliott in check, but the defense will need to keep an eye on rookie Tony Pollard as well.

Back in April, the Cowboys made the decision to bring Pollard on board during the draft to help take some of the pressure off Elliott in the backfield.

And while Pollard doesn’t normally receive the same kind of workload that Elliott does, this past Sunday is the perfect example of just how dangerous the rookie running back can be.

The Los Angeles Rams already had enough trouble keeping Elliott in check after the Cowboys star rushed for 117 yards with two scores, but Pollard actually led the team in rushing (131 yards) to go along with a touchdown of his own.

Knowing the Cowboys, the offense is going to do everything in their power to use this strong running game to help wear down the Eagles on defense.

It’s not going to be easy for Philadelphia, but if they can limit the big runs by these two, the Eagles will be in much better position to potentially pull off the win in front of their fans on Sunday.
